Happy Spring break! It’s finally warm in Minnesota and it’s so exciting to be outside now, especially when the days are longer. But days when I have classes at the U are really busy for me, and out of the three that I am on campus this semester, Wednesday is probably the busiest. Since my life is so hectic, I make sure I support my immune health with Ester-C every morning. I have just recently picked up this product at Walmart while it was on rollback.
A few weeks ago I had an especially packed Wednesday. It started with a macro midterm, then an alumni panel in my career and internship prep class where I got to meet amazing people from the industry and one of the girls who also interned for College Fashionista a few years back! I wanted to make sure I had the right questions and learned a lot. One of the most important lessons that I took away from this panel was – Don’t be afraid to tell your boss or manager what you want to do and where you want to go within a company.
Then I had my psychology classes, and this week the lectures are not as fun as I would like them to be. I thought I would enjoy this class way more than I am. At least the recitations are not as boring, and our instructor played the cello for us.
After my psych lecture was over I met with my friend Lauren to study for our Marketing midterm. Marketing is one of my favorite classes this semester, I wish I could minor in that instead of management, but unfortunately I can’t.
I couldn’t believe I had 2 midterms on the same day before most of my friends this semester. But after that was over, I was ready for more.
I agreed to talk about my blog and blogging experience at the FAB (fashion and business) event later that night. The girls all got together and started their own blog – Campus a la Mode, and I can’t wait to see what they come up with! There are amazing DIYs on there already!
It was a lot of fun to talk about my experience in blogging and social media, and answer all the questions people had. It was also important to me to support my immune system through the day, that’s why no matter rain or shine I take my vitamin C (Ester-C) in the mornings. It’s such a necessary thing for my busy lifestyle.
